KIRKLAND, WASHINGTON - September 9, 1998 - Clinical reSearchNet, Inc. is changing its name to Radiant Research. Clinical reSearchNet has been using the "Clinical reSearchNet, Inc." mark since January of this year, when CEO Michael K. Lester founded it.

"We have been looking for a new name for some time because we didn't feel 'Clinical reSearchNet' represented us well," explained Mr. Lester. "'Net' implies that we are a 'network' or 'affiliated' SMO, which is exactly the opposite of what we are - a dedicated, owned SMO. We also felt that the name was confusing, because many of our competitors have either "Clinical," "Research" or "Network" in their names."

"One of the Company's primary focuses is on patient recruitment, and the fact that patients are more likely to respond positively to Radiant Research was a particularly important consideration in changing our name," said Mr. Lester. "The many positive connotations with 'radiant' will benefit our recruiting efforts."
