Kirkland, Wash. - September 16, 2002 - Radiant Research Inc., one of the largest site management organizations (SMO) in the US today announced a strategic partnership with Synexus, Europe's largest SMO. The alliance will make it easier for clients of both organizations to conduct multinational clinical trials and will speed the collection of data required for regulatory approval of new therapies.
Under the joint marketing agreement, clinical trial sponsors will be able to use a single point of contact to seamlessly access over 40 clinical investigative research sites in the US and 9 sites in the UK.
"With the globalization of the pharmaceutical industry, our clients are increasingly looking for multinational investigational sites," said Mike Lester, CEO of Radiant Research. "Synexus has the medical expertise, the operational efficiencies and the values and culture we were looking for in a European partner".
"We are very excited at the prospect of working with Radiant given their track record and first class reputation in the market. Partnering with Radiant allows both companies to share best practices and deliver better value to our customers" said Paul Evans, Synexus' Managing Director.
