Kirkland, Wash.-Radiant Research Inc., a national site management organization (SMO) performing clinical trials, announced today that it completed the acquisition of the pharmaceutical research division of Hill Top Research, Inc.

The companies announced earlier this week that the acquisition was nearing completion.

Through the agreement, Radiant acquires 20 clinical research sites, a national patient-recruitment call center and a data information system from Hill Top. The acquisition makes Radiant the nation's largest owned-model SMO, with more than 500 investigators and site personnel experienced in conducting over 5,000 studies across 16 therapeutic areas.
